To the Comerford family our prayers are with you during this time. Just as my brother Nat Bailey has said, you are indeed loved by our family. And on a personal note, I will never forget the caring and inspiration you and Pat gave me during my years at JFK.

Joan Galante Gilberti posted a condolence
I was so sorry to read of Mr. Comerford's passing. He was a teacher at Central H.S., which I attended and graduated from in 1957. What I remember most about Mr. Comerford was how different he was from the other teachers we had; he was able to relate to teenagers in a way that others couldn't. We were able to talk to him and he would listen. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him. With sympathy, Joan Galante Gilberti

I had the pleasure of working with Mr.Comerford for many years. He was a very kind man and I considered him a good friend. After his retirement, he always kept in touch with me and the staff at Sage.
He will be truly missed.
Sorry I couldn’t be there to give my condolences in person, but he will never be forgotten.
My Deepest Sympathy,
Silvio Pelosi

If there was a bigger sports fan than I, it was uncle Jim. I enjoyed his sense of humor, the way he brought a smile to everyone, and the times spent at the shore. You will be missed.
