Obituary of Nicholas C. Festa

OBITUARY Nicholas Festa age 84 of Plano, Texas died Monday, October 24, 2005. Born in Paterson, NJ, Mr. Festa resided in Florida, Ohio, and Colorado before moving to Plano, Texas. He was a prominent home builder in Florida and was the President of Forest City Industries, Ohio which built shopping malls throughout the United States including the Woodbridge Mall before his retirement. Mr. Festa served in the United States Army as a paratrooper and was injured during the invasion of Normandy. He was a member of the 507th Airborne Division of the Paratroopers. Survivors include his wife the former Alice Lawrence of Plano, Tx A son: Richard Festa of Plano, Tx. A daughter: Janis Gibson of Atlanta, Ga. 5 Brothers: James L. Festa of Weehawkin Charles C. Festa Jr. of Paterson (Ret. Col.) Donald Festa of Strafford, Virginia Robert P. Festa of Totowa Peter Festa of Oakland 2 Sisters: Rose De Lisi of Pompton Plains June Leonardi of Little Falls, NJ.
