I remember my Grandfather always being kind to me. He listened to me and made me feel important to him. I was sad to find out 2 weeks after his death that he had gone to be with the Lord. My father has not had contact with me in several years and it was very heart breaking to realize that I had not been counted in the total of grandchildren. I do not think it is something that my Poppa would have allowed. But Thankfully it is something he did not have to contend with. I am his name sake and I find great pride in knowing that we share such a strong name.
Please, everyone, pray for my father and grandmother. They are in desperate need of prayer.
