Pepe, Gregory Andrew age 85 of Paterson at rest in Hackensack on October 10, 2024. Beloved husband of sixty-seven years of Eleanor (nee Pitlak) Pepe. Loving father of Barbara Widmer and her husband Al and Mike Pepe and his girlfriend Nicole Labouseur. Beloved grandfather of Jared and Heather Pepe and Samantha and Brandon Widmer. Dear brother of Vincent Pepe and the late Alfred Pepe (2018). Born in New York, NY, he grew up in Manhattan and lived in Brooklyn for sixteen years before moving to Paterson. He was an employee for the United States Post Office, Manhattan, then MJ Santulli Mailing Service, Manhattan. After that, he was an employee of Morrow & Co., Jersey City, before retiring. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Gregory enjoyed going to the casino, playing cards, and traveling all over the United States. He was also an Air Force Veteran having served during peacetime. Relatives and friends may visit the Festa Memorial Funeral Home 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Sunday from 2-6 PM with a funeral service at 5:00 PM. All are invited to attend the services on Monday at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukemia Foundation and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, would be appreciated.
