I served with Greg in the Air Force when we were in Morocco Africa at Noureur Air Base. We were in Headquarter Squadron personnel. He was a great guy to be around. You always had a good time with him. Our paths crossed many times after we got out of the service. My work required a lot of travel and every chance I got I would contact him. He even stopped at our place in Minnesota when he was on a vacation trip .There were eight of us in our personnel unit and now at 87 I am that last one of the group. I talked to Greg before he went to the hospital and he was in high spirits so his passing was a real shock. His picture surprised me because in talking over the phone I always pictured him as the happy go lucky young guy I knew him in Africa
