Obituary of Dorothy A Machuszek

Machuszek, Dorothy A. (nee Amento), passed away this Sunday, March 31st at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson with her family by her side. Dorothy would have turned 85 on May 21st. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Deborah L. Machuszek, her cherished grandson Dylan N. Machuszek and her daughter in law Cindi Greco. She was pre-deceased by her beloved son, Stan N. Machuszek. She also leaves behind her sister, Judy Tangredi and her husband Dominick, her niece Christine Tangredi, her brother Ross Amento and his wife Gail, her nephew Brian and his wife Sarah. She also leaves behind 2 nieces, Stacey Fischkelta and her husband Steve, and Jan. She was predeceased by her parents Dorothy & Nicholas Amento and her nephew Greg Amento. Dorothy worked as an administrative assistant at Washington Park Elementary School for many years before retiring. Dorothy was an avid reader and loved playing her card games on her tablet. She loved listening to her music, courtesy of Alexa. Dorothy was the best cook and loved making meals for her family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Passaic County Elks Cerebral Palsy Center, 1481 Main Avenue, Clifton, NJ 07011 would be appreciated. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Wednesday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
