I’m good friends with Kathleen and had listened to “ dad” stories for many years. I finally got to meet him last year and he was truly a delight. Even though it was evident he wasn’t overjoyed with his surroundings, he was very much the gentleman and it was evident to see the love he had for Kathleen, just by the way his face lit up when he talked to her. It was wonderful to get to spend time with him even for that short period. There is nothing I can say or do that will make this time easier. I can only hope that beautiful memories, hugs and caring thoughts will help to ease this pain. Prayers to the entire family, “Katie”
