Our deepest condolences to Monsignor Mark J. Geordani’s family. Father Mark, as we used to call him was the kindness, humble person who taught and inspired us by his example. My husband and I had the honor to meet him, share experiences, and receive his blessings and his positive message of life.
Being as busy as he always was, Monsignor Geordani still took time and wrote personal handwriting notes to us at Christmas time which was very much appreciated. Monsignor Geordani, thank you for giving us so much warm and generous love! And, thank you for preserving the community flourishing and integrated for so many years. The work done will remain in our hearts!
Rest in peace Monsignor Mark J. Geordani! We love you forever!

It is with heaviness of heart that I extend my sincere condolences to the family of Monsignor Mark Giordani.
There will never be enough space in the world to convey the impact Father Mark made on everyone. Because of his impressive humility, loving heart, generous spirit, and genuine reflection of the Lord’s compassion and mercy, Father Mark was loved by all who encountered him. He had a unique ability to be a friend to all. One truly did walk away from him feeling better and happier. Notwithstanding his hilarious sense of humor.
He also had a gift of seeing in others what they they did not see in themselves. It was due to his encouragement and guidance that led me to become a catechist at Saint John’s Cathedral. A role I would never have imagined I’d be in without his confidence in me.
The Lord has truly graced those who knew him with this amazing man of God. Sadly, the time arrived all too soon for his departure back into the arms of the Lord whom he served so faithfully and devoutly. The pain of loss shows us what he’s given us.
May you find solace in knowing the amazing person he was to everyone who knew him. He was truly, truly one of a kind!
I’m quite sure the Lord prepared a special mansion for him in Heaven.
Until we meet again, rest in peace, my dearest Father Mark. You will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. The brightness of your light and example continues to shine never to be extinguished.

Dear Giordani Family,
We would like to extend our sincere condolences for the tremendous loss of Father Mark. Our family has been friends with Father Mark since the early 1980's. He has been a pillar in our lives through many Baptisms, Communions, Confirmations, weddings and the devastating goodbyes of our own loved ones. We shared much laughter and tears throughout these events. We were volunteers every year at his Great Falls street fair, traveled with him to holy sites and taught CCD after his thoughtful coaxing. He saw us through many dark times and we couldn't have gotten through them without him. He will remain in our hearts always! At every Eulogy he's given for our loved ones, he always ended with the Irish Blessing. It's only appropriate we end with this blessing for our beloved friend and Father:
May the road rise up to meet you;
May the wind always be at your back,
The sun shine warm upon your face,
The rain fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
We love you Father Mark,
The Sausa and Esposito Families

Father Mark,
As I live streamed your funeral mass today, I thought to myself, what a wonderful sendoff to such a beautiful person. May you be at peace, free of all your pain, reunited with all who have gone before you. I certainly hope Heaven was prepared to have a motor cycle come flying through St. Peter’s Gates. Thank you for all you did for us here on Earth and I know you will continue to be there for us from up above. God Speed, Father Mark.

Monsignor Mark. He gave himself to all of us asking nothing in return. An angel among us. Never judged anyone. Unforgettable, irreplaceable, one of a kind. A heart as big as the sun. What a better place this world would be if more of us were more like him. A phone call away he would come to us in our time of need. No matter how busy he was, he somehow found time for anyone who needed him. He married and baptized so many of us, our children too and was there when our family members passed into eternity. He would visit the sick. Strikingly handsome, fit, strong, and that beautiful Italian accent. He could have been a movie star. But this beautiful, humble, kind, compassionate, selfless and decent man instead chose a far more important job, to watch over us. The door to his office and heart were always open to anyone who wanted to speak with him. In good times and in bad he was always there for us. His calm soothing voice and the sight of him being near you could bring peace. You just knew you were in the presence of someone very special. It was his voice and what he said that did so much good for all of us. This dreadful disease eventually silenced his speech. How could this happen to, of all people, him? We could never express enough gratitude to thank him for all he has done for us. I guess we forgot he was only on loan from God and we couldn't keep him forever. Now he has been called back home. We love you Mark. We will miss you. You take a piece of our heart with you.
My sincerest condolences to Fr. Mark’s family. Rest In Peace dear brother. Tony Giovannitti

Fr. Mark had an amazing way of reaching out to the youth of the community. He gave so much of himself. I thank God for my many memories of Fr. Mark. We were married by Fr. Mark in 1982. He visited my father-in-law on a daily basis when he was sick. Fr. Mark performed the funeral. I called Fr. Mark in 1995 to ask him to baptize our daughter in a private ceremony at St. John’s Cathedral. He said hold on... let me get my calendar. Always there for thousands and thousands of people. On January 30, 2021 a very bright light went out in the world. Fr. Mark will be missed beyond words. May you rest peacefully, Fr. Mark...
Our deepest condolences to Fr. Mark’s family.

On behalf of our family the Valbuena and Carvajal, we send our deepest condolences to Giordani family. Father Mark was an amazing person who I always consider a walking living saint. His love for everyone he meet was unconditional and always try to help all. My family knew Father since 1975, he married my sister, baptized our grandson and buried my mom. Father was an extraordinary person, who will be missed. The beautiful thing now we have is the memories he left us. Many memories specially our trips to the Holy Land, Europe and other places. They will be treasure in my heart. Blessings and our prayers

A great man, a great priest, a great friend! If there was ever one who deserved an honored place in Heaven, it is Father Mark. He was an inspiration to all his brother priests and a model of grace and compassion to those he served. He was raised up as a Monsignor not because he needed it, but because he deserved it. Mark Giordani was a true believer who lived in imitation of Jesus. He was charming, intelligent, humble and a wonderfully warm human being who seemed to have boundless energy, even in his illness. He will be remembered with gratitude, but far more important, he will be remembered with love.
I extend my sympathy to his family. May Father Mark rest in peace and may his good deeds, of which there are many, go with him to the Court of God. Fr. Edward Lambro
