Obituary of Irene J D'Arco

D'Arco, Irene J. (nee Vandenbrouck), age 79 of Wayne at rest in Mount Arlington on December 10, 2020. Loving mother of Joseph D'Arco and his wife Barbara of Parrish, FL, Michael D'Arco and his wife Jennifer of Mount Arlington, Steven D'Arco of Stockholm and David D'Arco and his wife Eleni of Westwood. Dear grandmother of Sarah, Christine, Joseph, Giana, Dominic, Talia, Deanna and Michael. Great-grandmother of Kaitlyn. Sister of Richard Vandenbrouck and his wife Janice of Monroe Twsp. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Born in Central Falls, RI, she lived in Clifton for most of her life before moving to Wayne. She was a Spare Parts Administrator for Sandvik Processing Systems, Totowa. Irene was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure's R.C. Church, Paterson and a member of its 3rd Order Secular Franciscan Society, as well as a Eucharistic Minister. She was also an ordained Interfaith Minister ordained at St. John the Divine Cathedral in 1999. She took 2 pilgrimages to Medjugorje. She enjoyed time spent with her friends at Siena Village. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:15 AM. Cremation is private at the request of the family. Friends may visit Monday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
