Obituary of Josephine Ponstingel

Ponstingel, Josephine (nee Ventre), age 80 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on June 26, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Louis Ponstingel (2011). Loving mother of Louie D. Ponstingel of Paterson, John M. Ponstingel and his wife Cristina of Highland Lakes, and Laura Fieldhouse and her husband Dwight of Hawthorne. Adoring grandmother of John, Lili, and Tristen. Dear daughter of the late Daniel and the late Josephine (nee Gallo) Ventre. Sister of Anthony and Daniel Ventre, both of Florida. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson for her entire life. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Ponstingel was a longtime parishioner of St. Gerard's RC Church, Paterson and was very involved in many church activities. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday 10-12 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
