Mama Jo as I called her was like a second mother to myself and my husband Larry growing up. No sweeter woman roamed this earth. Warm, loving, caring, and faithful. Always ready to feed you, laugh with you, pray with you, comfort you, and love you. My life has been blessed to have had her in it. No more pain and suffering. Only peace. We will miss her so much.
All our love,
Larry, Tracie and Kellie Rose Kientz

Josephine was the loving Nana of Tristen and she was there when he was born. Josephine made my life so much richer for knowing a beautiful person as her. She was a light of joy and we spent many great times and holidays together. She remains in my heart forever.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your sweet Mom I knew her before you children or your Dad knew her. I remember her during her school days when she would visit her friends up the street from my house. She was always very pleasant and would stop by to say Hello. Then as the years went by, we happened to live on the same street, Burlington Avenue. Our husband were firefighters in Paterson. She had a bright smile and a friendly mannerism. Her father was the barber who would cut my son's hair when he was a small boy. Josephine will be missed by all those who were blessed to have known her. May she rest in peace and run into the arms of her devoted husband as she enters the kingdom of Heaven. Mary & Luis Ronda

Josie and Louie were neighbors but soon became our loving friends. We watched our children grow up together. We had birthdays and some holidays together and a cup of tea together many times.
She was a sweet loving soul who wanted to help you or feed you or babysit for my kids. Josie and Lou were godparents to our Jennifer. She loved Josie and Big Lou! She is taking her death very hard.
When we moved to Florida we would call each and when it was our birthdays we would sing Happy Birthday and chat and catch up.
Every time We would come to NJ we would get together. Always missed her. She battled this cancer for a very long time and she always had grace and courage and a sense of humor. Her faith never left her. She was devoted to Jesus and to the church.
Now out of pain, she has seen the face of God and has reunited with the love of her life.
We love you Josie and we will miss you!

When I think of Aunt Jo I think of love. She was filled with love and there was always enough for everyone. I will miss her smiling face, her laugh, her hugs and of course her letters and texts with all her emojis. She always told me I was at her wedding because mom was pregnant with me. It would make me smile. We can all feel some peace knowing she is at peace and our guardian angel.
Love Lois
