Velez, Maryann Lucy (nee Bonadies), age 65 of Bloomfield at rest in Bloomfield on April 20, 2020. Beloved wife of Ventura Velez of Paramus. Loving mother of Kimberly Moreno and her husband Bing of Bloomfield. Sister of Arleen Walmers and her husband Paul of Wayne. Grandmother of Penelope Moreno. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson for most of her life before moving to Bloomfield six years ago. She was a para-professional for Park Ridge Board of Education, Park Ridge. She also worked for the United States Postal Service, Paterson for over ten years. She loved her cat. She loved going to Wildwood Crest where she spent most of her summers. She enjoyed 50's and 60's music as well as gameshows. She loved spending time with her granddaughter. Out of respect and concern for public health and safety and the current mandate of social distancing, all funeral services will be private.
