Grace was, indeed, amazing. In the brief time I spent in her presence I could not help but be impressed by her gratitude. Regardless of her discomfort, I never heard her complain, or ask for anything, but when offered even simply a drink of water appreciation was always clearly evident. What inspired me, most was her connection to Glenda. Whilst in recovery, and other times, if restless we would receive a call from caregivers, often Val, who always seemed amazed at Glenda's ability to soothe her. Even in her last hours, while unresponsive to all others, she responded, and acknowledged Glenda's presence. Rest well faithful servant.
