Obituary of Jose E. Pantoja

Pantoja, Jose E."Kike" age 48 of Prospect Park at rest in Prospect Park on August 19, 2018. Beloved husband of  Wanda L. Pantoja of Prospect Park. Loving Father of Briana L. Pantoja and Jasmine B. Pantoja, both of Prospect Park. Beloved son of Jose A. Pantoja of Boston, Mass. and Doris M. (nee Ruiz) Torres of Sanford, FL. Dear brother of Darlene Pantoja and her husband of Hawthorne, Alexander Pantoja and his wife Paula of Chandler, AZ, Juan Cales of Sanford, FL and Jesus Morales of Puerto Rico. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Passaic, he lived in Paterson and Haledon before moving to Prospect Park in 2001. He was a Senior Special Investigator for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Saddle Brook, for eighteen years. Mr. Pantoja was a former Board Member for the Prospect Park Board of Education. He belonged to the Society of Investigators of Greater Newark. He was a former Court Officer in Prospect Park. He also held a N.J. Private Investigators License. Jose was an avid fisherman and loved to Bar-B-Que and Grill. He was a N.Y. Giants fan and loved to care for his landscaping and Kentucky Blue Grass. He also loved to DJ. Friends may visit Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Fair Lawn Cemetery, Fair Lawn.
