Jose was my co-worker at Liberty Mutual for 15 years. Great Investigator who was always willing to help. Jose was very respected in the Insurance Industry and in his community. More important then a co-worker Jose was a friend. Rest In Peace Brother you fought until the end. Prayers for your family and they have you watching over them. You are missed and will not be forgotten.

I met Jose over five years ago and we became friends. Although we did not work together on the same team we saw each other at meetings, and a couple of years back at a NYACT conference on Long Island where Jose received an award for being an outstanding investigator. I remember on that day we laughed and had great conversation. You will always be remembered.
God bless you and your family.

I had the opportunity and pleasure of meeting and coming to know Jose at Liberty Mutual in Marlton. Jose was always soft-spoken and kind and looking to help all of the staff learn more about his job and how we could all work together as a team. He was a very sweet man and will be missed greatly. All of my love and thoughts go out to his entire family and all of his friends.

I had the opportunity to first meet Jose a few years back at the NJSIA conference in Atlantic City shortly after I joined SIU. He was so kind and welcoming. One of my fondest memories of Jose was at a region team meeting when he brought his DJ equipment to entertain us and ensure that everyone had a great time while we were all together. He even used an award he received to get appetizers and snacks for all of our team to enjoy. Jose was such a generous, fun-loving, friendly man; he's the true definition of our SIU family. Rest in peace my friend.
Wanda, Briana, and Jasmine you are in our thoughts and prayers. So incredibly sorry for your loss.

I met Jose on my 3rd day at Liberty Mutual in 2012 and we became quick friends. We worked together in complex SIU on sister teams for a few years and then on same team. We would joke that we were brothers from another mother - that is how highly I thought of Jose. Jose was a great friend, confidant and mentor. Jose always talked about his family and how they were the focal point in his life. He was always there to remind me of what is important in life and to remind those that are close to you to tell them often that you love them.
Jose was one of kind - we miss you - rest In peace my brother - all my love to Wanda and the girls.

I met Jose over 15 years ago and our work relationship developed into a friendship. Jose was not only my mentor as an investigator but someone I could call on for anything and most importantly a friend. Jose was the most calm person I have ever met regardless of the situation. We shared many good times through the years. Jose had a beautiful soul and was a beautiful person. I will always cherish the time I had with you. Rest in peace my brother.

I met Jose over seventeen years ago in the SIU department at Liberty Mutual Ins. Co. From the minute I met him I knew he was passionate about his work and was committed to doing the right thing, even when nobody was looking. Through the many years of working similar cases we got to know each other outside of work. Jose had a strong love for his family and his community. As a school board member he would often share a lot of the accomplishments the board made and end the conversation with how proud he was of his daughters describing the many milestones they achieved.
A little over a year ago Jose broke the news that he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. It did not take long for Jose to research the type of cancer, available treatment and best specialists in the field. Throughout his treatment he vowed never to give up the fight. When one treatment was not showing positive results he would move on to the next, all while researching additional treatment plans to ensure he would not run out of options.
On Sunday, August 19th heaven opened its doors to one of the strongest fighters I have ever known!
With heartfelt sympathy to Wanda, Brianna and Jazzy. Jose was one of a kind and will truly be missed by everyone.
-Miss you brother
