Malloy, William J. "Bill" age 73 of Montville at rest in Denville on July 29, 2018. Beloved husband of forty six years of the former Joanne Mele of Montville. Loving father of Andrea M. Frischer and her husband Adam of Syosset, Long Island, N.Y. and Brian Malloy of Montville. Dear grandfather of Ruby Frischer and Miles Frischer. Brother of Evelyn Nicusanti of Toms River, Peg Voorman of Woodland Park, Pat Malloy of Sacramento, CA. and Jack Malloy of Missouri. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson, then Boonton before moving to Montville thirty years ago. He was a Carpenter for North Jersey Carpenter's Union, Local #253, Paterson for many years before retiring in 2009. Mr. Malloy was the past president and past secretary of the Carpenters Union Local #124. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam war, holding the rank of Sergeant. He enjoyed to travel and visit Atlantic City. He was a family man with a heart of gold and cherished time spent with his grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Friends may visit Friday from 5:00 - 9:00 PM. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to help@aamds.org .
