Obituary of June A. Eckardt

Eckardt, June A. (nee Woodmancey) age 67 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on June 13, 2018. Beloved wife of Dennis J. Eckardt. Beloved sister of Lynne Walker and James Woodmancey. Sister in law of the late Dwight Walker. Loving aunt of Tara Gurr, Andrew Woodmancey, Debra Schnellbacher and Michael Eckardt. Dear great aunt of Tyler & Jaxson Gurr. Born in Paterson, she lived in Wayne for most of her life. She was a Teacher & School Coordinator for the Paterson Board of Education, PS #25 for 39 years before retiring in 2010. Mrs. Eckardt was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, Wayne. She was a member of the NJ Retired Education Association and the School 25 "Breakfast Club". She was a kind caring and compassionate friend to all, and will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Wayne at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
