Wednesday, January 31, 2018My Dad and John served on the PFD together for many years. I was so grateful that he visited my Dad at the hospital just before my Dad passed. Their friendship lasted decades and I know they’ll reconnect in Heaven...you both served your country and your city. Rest In Peace...

Wednesday, January 31, 2018To the family of John Sellitto: Over forty years ago, I had the pleasure of sharing classes at William Paterson College with John. I remember him encouraging me to pursue the career I wanted in law enforcement. The years pass by and we went our separate ways. But I will never forget his words of encouragement to me. My deepest condolences on John's passing. Rest in peace, my classmate. With sympathy, Nick Salemme 1977 WPC.

Wednesday, January 31, 2018I bowled with John for many years & we became very good friends. I haven't bowled since the 80s & we haven't seen each other for a long time. We did run in to each other a little while ago however, & exchanged what we did in the years between. John always led a good life & I'm sure our "Lord" has a special place reserved for him. He will remain in mine & my wife "Angel's" prayers forever..

Tuesday, January 30, 2018awww I’m so sad but what a great man he was! I just spoke with him this summer about old scouting times with Marge! up until his death he still sent a girl to camp every summer! Us scouts have so many treasured memories of the firehouse and his house on Greenwood Lake. This world needs more people like him and his late wife Marge. he will be missed.
