Obituary of Bruce Bright

Bright, Bruce age 66 of Bedminster at rest in Somerville on December 23, 2017. Beloved husband of nineteen years of the former Myrian Guzman of Bedminster. Loving Father of Ashley Maloney and her husband Brian of Kinnelon, Brittany Bright of West Milford, Teresa Nieves of Paterson, Giovanna Nieves of Haledon, and Luis Nieves of Haledon. Dear grandfather of Noreajah Rivera, E'Mya Maldonado and Lia Maloney. Special nephew of Evelyn Van Zile of Wayne. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson, then in Wayne and Pompton Lakes before moving to Bedminster ten years ago. He was a Plant Manager for Biocraft Labs, Fair Lawn, for thirty years before retiring in 1996. Mr. Bright was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. He loved to go camping. He was an all around handyman and enjoyed renovating his home as well as the homes of family and friends. He was a fisherman and would frequent the Carribean. He loved to go to garage sales and enjoyed setting off many different kinds of fireworks. He was an all around family man and loved his blended family and granchildren and spending time with them. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday (12/29/17) at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday from 4-8 PM. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
