I don't know where to begin, but I first met Bruce 40 years ago when I started working at Biocraft. We became friends right from the start and I like to think we remained friends right to the end. We lost touch as the years went on but every now and then my phone would ring and it would be Bruce, he would give me updates about his family and the old gang from work and I would update him too.
Bruce was a straight shooter and not the type of person to beat around the bush. There are many things I can say about Bruce. He was loyal and generous. He was free with his time and at the drop of a hat he would help you. My life is better because I met Bruce and I must say he was one of the best people I've ever known. I am terribly sorry that he is no longer with us and my heartfelt condolences to his entire family

So very sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. Our deepest sympathy to the Bright family. Bruce was a great person and added much spirit to our neighborhood. Always enjoyed seeing him in his garage, playing music, caring for the neighbors, and knew that he was looking out for the well being of all. Enjoyed our chats and listening to his advice and stories. Rest peacefully, Bruce. You were a wonderful person to have known and our family will miss you.

Bruce was so much more than a caring neighbor. He was a special friend who watched over all of us. I used to enjoy seeing him outside his garage and loved talking to him about neighborhood projects, music, and life in general. He was one of the smartest people I ever met. It was amazing how much he knew about everything! Our neighborhood will not be the same without him. You will be missed my buddy. I pray you are at peace.

Bruce was not only a reliable, caring neighbor, but a trusted friend. He encouraged me to tackle projects that I thought far above my reach. Bruce taught me to stand a little bit taller to reach those heights.
I will miss sharing stories of everyday life, our experiences during the 70s and our love of music, especially the Allman Brothers Band. I prayed that Duane and Gregg were there to celebrate you home, ushering you in with some really amazing music! I will miss you.....
