Tammy, Jay, Jimmy, Bobby, Carly & Amanda and the Eifler Family,
Wanted to express our sincere condolences on the passing of your father, father-in-law and grandfather. I was so fortunate and honored to have known Gus most of my life. I have the fondest memories of him.
There are so many to name. Ever since I was a little girl I will always remember going to his home as it was such a warm loving place to be. Whether it was him and Caroline making their sun tea, doing yard work, taking care of his pond or listening to the country music that always filled their home...it was little things like that that I will always remember.
Gus was a pillar of the community that I grew up in. A hardworking, honorable man that everyone loved. I am very thankful that in my adult years, I was able to have nice talks with him as he shared his work stories and his fireman stories with me. I will miss seeing him at Tammy's house, but I know he is at peace and picking up where he left off with his beautiful wife. I am so fortunate to have known such an amazing man, that left such an impact on so many people. Rest in Peace Gus
You will be terribly missed by all.
Love, Lori, Mario, Christopher & Bianca

I consider myself one of the lucky ones to have been able to spend so much quality time and holidays with Gus. I will truly miss our football Sundays and all the fun and special family times we had. I am sorry very sorry for the Eifler and Barbier family for the loss of such an honorable man. He was such a devoted father and grandfather and a true role model for all. We will all miss him so much. Rest In Peace Gus.

Dear Tammy, Jay, Jim and the entire family,
Words cannot express our deep sorrow for your loss -- our hearts are heavy with love and sympathy. Your Dad/Grandpa was a lovely man -- although we didn't know him as long as most of your life long friends, we truly enjoyed his company and will feel his loss!

I sit and wonder if you realize how much you were loved and respected by the people of Totowa and the men who worked alongside you and for you all those years in our plumber's union. The number of calls, PM's, texts and loving thoughts I've had to deal with on social media have been overwhelming. I'm so happy you had the love in your heart to be so strong to hold on until Carly & Amanda could see you one last time and say their goodbyes to the best "POPPY" they could have ever asked for, and if Rosie she could cry she would certainly shed a tear for you, she's gonna miss our Sunday football games and dinners. Don't worry thought I am giving her your favorite slippers, she will think beautiful thoughts of you every time she sees them, sleeps with them or just plays with them. I have so many fond memories as a kid I couldn't pick just one out if I tried, and I thank you for each and every one of them. Give mommy, Pop Pop & Grandma a big hug and kiss from me, and say hello to the rest of the family as well, it must be a heck of a reunion!!
Love you dad, R.I.P., Jimmy XOXO
