Obituary of Alma Carbone

Carbone, Alma R. (nee Cammarano), age 90 of Totowa at rest in Wayne on May 13, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Carbone (1974). Loving mother of Joanne Kakaty & her husband, George of Saddle River, Rosemary Polzella of Fairfield and Norma Minchin & her husband, Jim of Fairfield. Devoted sister of Marie Turli of Leesburg, FL. Caring grandmother of Tara and her husband Steve Dilk, Steven Kakaty, Regina Polzella, Anthony Polzella and Jill Minchin. Alma is survived by many dear friends and cherished nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in Totowa for most of her life. She was an Office Worker for Felsway Corp., Totowa for 20 years before retiring. Mrs. Carbone was a parishioner of St. James RC Church, Totowa and was a member of its Rosary Altar Society. She also belonged to the Totowa Seniors. She had a very strong faith and was devoted to the Blessed Mother. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM.
