My deepest sympathy Rosemary, Joann, Norma and extended families on the passing of your Mom & Grandmother. May the Lord give you strength to get through these difficult days.
I have very fond memories of Alma while working at Felsway, we sat close to one another (different departments). She was always smiling or laughing with others especially in her small department (Rose Addeo & Ruth Clare).
May she rest in peace ~
Sincerely, BettyAnn Devlin

YES.. What a wonderful long life you had!!! You were fortunate to have lived during the Fabulous 50's..Those amazing years.. the decade that most consider the happiest times in the life of America..America was uncontestated, unchallenged and number one in the postwar world, family values were unchallenged and movies and TV were enjoyable. Those four British lads whom you attributed for the beginning of our decadence were still harmless and far, far away across the pond.. America was rebuilding and the world followed.. You chose the beautiful town of Totowa to raise family and lived there for well over half a century. And no matter where in the world you went, no matter how beautiful, luxurious sumptious and rich it may have been there, you always longed to get back to "your house" in Totowa NJ USA

You traveled extensively and saw many beautiful places here and abroad..And now you've reached and rest peacefully in the most magnificent mansion. Close to your brothers, sisters and parents and faithful spouse Joseph.. The happiness and joy must be beyond our human comprehension. I'm sure that Mario. - the Renaissance man, architect, engineer has made sure that your Heavenly mansion was ready on time.
You were called into heaven on May 13...which is the Feast day of Our Lady of Fatima.. who quickly interceded Jesus to accompany you with Him on the following day of the Ascension..
YES!! What a wonderful life!!

Dear Carbone Family: It breaks our hearts when death separates us from the ones we love no matter how young or old they happen to be. we are reminded in the Bible that God sees our pain and sorrow and has promised that soon death will be done away with...swallowed up forever.(Isaiah 25:8) He will heal our broken hearts by resurrecting our precious loved ones to life again.(Acts 24:15) I hope in the days ahead as you reflect on Alma's life, and the beautiful memories left behind, that you will also find comfort in God's promises to us for the near future. I am so sorry for your loss.

Joanne and George, so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She left us in the month of Mary, Queen of Heaven and on the eve of the Ascension of our Lord to Heaven. Rest assured that she is already in Heaven with Mary and Jesus and all the saints. May her memory be eternal and may you find comfort that she is in the loving arms of Her Saviour and His Blessed Mother who she prayed to all her life.

Joanne, rosemary, Norma and families, I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was such a kind lady and will be missed by all. I have so many fond memories at your house as a child. Recently, whenever I was next door at my Dads house Alma would stop over to chat and asked about my Dad. She even took the time to send him cards and wish him well. She cared so much for everyone. Now she is at rest and joined with your Dad. God bless.

Alma was a very giving friend.
We go back to around 1953 when Bob and I moved into Totowa in our first home. Some time after that we developed a friendship with my first 2 children and Alma's children who were in St James school together.
Many a night she invited our girls to play with her girls and gave us a chance to go out.
When I had to be rushed to the hospital with a miscarriage she ran down to watch the kids.
I am sure she is in the place we all want to be when our time arrives. I know that she is there because she lived the "Love" that is required to attain heaven.
Rest in Peace!
