Grandma Jay,
I am so thankful for all the time I've gotten to spend with you and all the happy memories we've made together. Thank you for all the love you've given me, and thank you for being so loving and generous to those around you.
All the prayers you've said for my parents and me are undoubtedly responsible for all the good fortune we've had in our lives. And now that you're in heaven, I know we'll always have an angel looking over us, sending us blessings, and guiding us through life's challenges.
There will never be anyone as sweet and caring as you, Grandma. You're truly one-of-a-kind. Thanks for being so perfect in every way. I'll be loving and missing you always.
Until we meet again,
Your loving grandson,
Kevin Scott

Momma Jay,
My wife Jay made me feel like the luckiest man in the world. That is why I loved her. Not only for the things she did for others, but for her thoughtfulness also. She made everyone feel comfortable, accepted, and cared about. She was a generous and caring person, a dedicated wife, a wonderful mother and devoted partner in my life. No one could be as special as my gal Jay. She meant the world to me and I loved her dearly.
The good Lord now has another angel to look after us and guide us and pray for us.
All my love,
Daddy Ed

Happy Birthday Aunt Jay! May you be celebrating in Heaven with my Dad!
You have been a part of my life from the very day I was born as my Aunt and God Mother. Then I moved next door to you & oh what great memories we have growing up. As the years progressed, we prayed together at the many Novena’s you & my Mom attended. We laughed together at the crazy things Kevin, Eddie, Bea & myself did as children. We cried together, good tears & sad tears at the countless things life brought our way. But most of all we loved together! We loved our families unconditionally & they loved us back. You were blessed with a wonderful Husband, 2-Loving Son’s, a Beautiful Angel for a Daughter-in-Law, a Loving Grandson, & we were blessed with YOU as a part of our life.
I will miss you greatly but know in my heart that you are now at peace with your family. Daddy, please take care of my Aunt Jay!
You will always be in my heart & in my soul forever. I Love You!
Love Your Niece,
Mary

No words could express how special of a person Grandma Jay was. Her kindheartedness could be felt within minutes of meeting her. Grandma Jay, thank you for showing us what it means to be a strong and compassionate person. We will miss you dearly.
"Don't grieve for me, for now I am free; I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call; I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way; I found that place at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss; Ah yes, these things, I too, will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow; I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much; Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seemed too brief; Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me; God wanted me now, He set me free!"

Mom,
I am so blessed by your love and kindness that you shared with me, and the many people that you encountered throughout your life. You were defined by your charitable, loving, caring and selfless ways, which made you such a special person. You are truly an Angel.
It amazed me how such a sweet, humble, and gentle person could be the toughest person that I ever knew. Despite life’s challenges, you were able to deal with them with a deep-rooted trust and faith in God. You faced your fate without so much of a complaint, as it just wasn’t in your nature to complain. In the end, your spirit was never broken.
And so, with a heavy heart, I say to you that I love you more than I could ever express. I cannot thank you enough for all the things you have done for me throughout my life. I know that you will always be by my side guiding me, until we meet again.
Hope that your first birthday in Heaven is special.
Loving you forever,
Your son Kevin
