Obituary of Daisey Shirley McSherry

McSherry, Daisey Shirley (nee Biber) age 92 of Paterson at rest in Wayne on August 21, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Captain Edward F. McSherry (1998) . Loving Mother of Kathy Comizio and her husband Dr. Robert of Lavallette, Michael McSherry of Paterson, Thomas McSherry and his wife Linda of Burr Ridge, Illinois and Fr. Patrick McSherry of Detroit, Michigan. Sister of the late Frank Biber. Grandmother of Deven, Kellie, Meghan, Sean and Ryan. Also survived by 5 great-grandchilden and numerous nieces and nephews here in the states as well as Switzerland and Peru. Born in Paterson, she lived in Haledon, then West New York, before moving back to Paterson. She was a Secretary for St. John's High School, Paterson. After that she was the secretary at Eastside High School, Paterson and in her earlier career she was also a secretary at Brown Boveri, NYC. Mrs. McSherry was a member of The Jollies, Little Falls and the Blessed Sacrament Leisure Club, Paterson. She was also a volunteer at Preakness Health Care Center, Wayne for 28 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 6:45 PM. Cremation will be private at the request of the family. Friends may visit Monday 3-7 PM.
