Sincere sympathy and my prayers for the family of dear Daisey. She has been a cherished friend since we first met when we were both working at St. John's High School in Paterson - 50 years ago! Her faithfulness and loyalty are treasured memories, and I will miss her more than words can say. Because I was away on retreat at the time of her death and memorial service, I regretfully could only be at Festa's in spirit on Monday, but Daisey will always liive on in my heart.
My love to all her dear ones -
Sr. Clare Mary, SC

We always looked forward to Daisey visiting Tom, Linda, Sean and Ryan. She brought a certain 'spunk' to the wrestling meets, graduation parties and weddings. You were only allowed to call her 'Daise' once; and that was only because you did not know any better. You were immediately told that it was DAISEY, not Daise. Daisey was kind, witty and always inquired as to how everyone was doing in the family. She was a strong woman from that great generation, and we are so fortunate to have known her. Our deepest condolences to Daisey's wonderful family. God Bless.

My sincere condolences and sympathy to you and your family.
Your Dad and my Dad (Bruno Falato) were Policemen together in Paterson. Our families were good friends and I remember visiting the Jersey shore together when we were all very young.
May fond memories last in your hearts forever.
Sincerely, Sherry (Falato) Cammarata

Dear Children, Relatives and Friends of Daisey,
I offer you all my sincere condolences, especially to my brother, Patrick. Ever since the death of her beloved husband, whose funeral I attended, I have corresponded with Daisey through notes and cards. She was ever so much more faithful than I and I always delighted to hear from her. I know how proud she was of all her children and I did my level best to bring Patrick down a peg or two; but she wouldn't hear of it! She was so full of love. I shall miss the notes with the little cat faces and always with an apology for her handwriting, because she couldn't see well. I shall always be grateful to her for giving us Patrick, now if he could just be half as good as she......(: I wished to come to the funeral, but I am unable to find the necessary substitutes for my tasks here. Be assured I am with you in spirit.
Love and Prayers,
Dan Fox, OFM Cap.

We are so glad to have known Daisey, such a wonderful person!
There will always be such fond memories of the times we were able to visit with her on her trips to IL. She loved her cats, and we as "cat" people too, had many conversations about them. It was always so much fun to chat with her!
She was an energetic and delightful person to be around, and we know that she will be so missed by family and friends.
Our deepest sympathies go out to the family, who we will keep in our thoughts and prayers.
With love,
The Ahlborns

Daisey had a long and active and productive life and raised a wonderful family with her beloved Edward. She was noted for her love and caring but also for her obstinacy. She let you know what she wanted in no uncertain terms and she made her own decisions. It was this quality and her perseverance that allowed her to live such a long and productive life. But over the last remaining months she had become tired, which she readily talked about, and was ready to end her long and productive journey. She was feisty to the very end but willing to accept the inevitable. The Lord blessed her at the end by sparing her from a long and painful departure. We celebrate her life, we love her,we will miss her and we wish her the eternal peace she so justly deserves.

She was a wonderful neighbor and a beloved "grandma" to Marmalade. She is at peace, happy, young again, and with your father. She lives on in her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives, friends and in all that is beautiful and good.
