Obituary of Karen B (Falato) Deluca

DeLuca, Karen (nee Falato), 59 passed away April 19 in Hightstown, NJ surrounded by her loving family. Karen was born in Paterson, NJ to the late Roseann & Bruno Falato. She was also predeceased by her husband, Mark DeLuca. She is survived by her daughters, Dana Trill of Denver, Colorado and Tara Wellington and her husband, James Wellington, and her two grandchildren Ava and James Wellington of Mahwah, NJ. She is also survived by her sisters Sherry Cammarata and her husband John of Hightstown and Dianne LaConte and her husband David of Eatontown, NJ and her nephews, David LaConte and Thomas Cammarata and his wife Jacque. Karen also leaves behind many life-long friends. Karen graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Paterson. She lived in Totowa, Haledon, and Paterson, NJ. Prior to her illness, she was employed by McCaffrey's in West Windsor, NJ and also the TJX Companies, Wyckoff. Karen enjoyed dancing, was a talented seamstress, and especially enjoyed spending time with her cherished grandchildren, Ava and James. The Compassionate Care Hospice Foundation has been extremely supportive throughout this journey. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 5:00 PM. Cremation is private at the request of the family.
