My Aunt Karen was like none other.
She greeted me with a kiss and a warm smile every time I saw her. Literally, without exception, every time in 42 years. And we always found something to share a laugh over.
Magically somehow, as I got older she seemed ageless, both physically and in spirit. Looking back, I think this is a testament to how she lived her life…
When I was explaining to my 10 year old daughter how much my Aunt Karen meant to me, I described her as one of the most unselfish people I’ve ever known. My daughter was quick to point out that this reminded her of a quote from Olaf the snowman in the Disney movie Frozen: “Love is putting someone else’s needs before yours.” We agreed that Aunt Karen was filled with love.
We’re blessed to have had her in our lives and as much we’ll miss her terribly, her spirit lives on in her beautiful daughters and grandchildren.
Rest in peace, Aunt Karen.

So sorry for your loss.Karen was a wonderful person. We worked together at McCaffrey's. she will be sadly missed. I enjoyed meeting her and working with her and getting to know the wonderful person that she was. She adored her grandchildren and always spoke about how much she loved the kids. She was a genuine and true loving woman and she had a great sense of humor. We had many laughs I will always remember!

Karen, Dearest
What a sweet, kind and loving sister you have been. We had so many laughs on our family and sister get-togethers, and you made them so much fun. I watched you grow from a quiet little girl into beautiful, vibrant, personable woman who always lit up the room. No words can express how you will be missed or how much you are loved and cherished. Love, your sister, Dianne

Mommy, you were always there for me no matter what it was right away and with the right thing to say to make it all better, this is how I want to be like you always finding the good in everyone first. You were so beautiful on the outside but even more on the inside, so giving of your time not to mention anything you had. I know you will be my angel now and continue to help me. please keep showing yourself it makes us smile if we cannot have you here anymore. xoxox Tara

Karen, my dear sister-in-law, I met you in 1969 when you peeked around the corner from your bedroom at me when I picked up your sister, Dianne, on our first date. I remember you had canvas sneakers on and your hair was short and straight. You looked nothing like the beautiful woman you would become. Beautiful not only on the outside but on the inside. I know how much you loved your family and how much we all loved you. You will be missed so much. Love your brother- in-law Dave.

Karen could light up a room just by walking into it. She was such a good friend to my sister and to my entire family. For years we laughed together... Now I cry with all of you.
Karen had her own special way of caring for others. She always knew exactly what you needed (and like the angel that she is) she would appear in times of need. Her gentleness is beautiful and her spirit will remain with us forever.

Karen,
Since the day I met you at Good Humor you became my best friend, in turn, and because of you, I've met the most wonderful people that have never left me. You did leave me, but only from my eyes, you are forever in my heart as much as all the people I've loved and left this earth. thank you, for all the fun and costumes you made us, the tears we shared, the rides we took, but most of all, your undeniable beautiful laugh, your unpretentious, never judgmental, best secret keeper in the world. your babies will miss you for sure, look after them, keep them safe...I love you
