I had Mr. DeSopo for Italian class in high school, and upon checking an obituary for a friend's dad ,I came upon Mr.DeSopo and was saddened...I always have nothing but pleasant memories of him, I never realized he lived right here in Totowa along with me...May he certainly rest in peace

"Dad" - words can't describe what little time we had together - joys, laughter, various acts of kindness. You will always be remembered as an individual who kept the families together. We are well aware of how the word "family" is defined by you and we, as your family, are eternally grateful for your compassion, love and guidance. God bless.

I have so many wonderful memories of Uncle Benny. He always had a smile on his face and brought laughter to his many nieces and nephews as well as his own children. May God Bless and care for my very special Uncle. He will be sorely missed by all of us.

Mio Caro Zio Benny,
So many treasured memories growing up, the wonderful Italian Accordion music filling the air at birthday parties & holiday's magically coming from your fingertips for everyone to enjoy.
Laughter & smiles around the room from all your little nieces, nephews and children as quietly behind the camera lens you would click away.
The best “teacher I ever had.
Eternal love & peace mio Zio.

My Fondest Memory Of Uncle Benny
As a young naive teenager I spent many a weekend working side by side with my Uncle Benny. It was at his side I learned many lessons that would help me later in life.
Uncle Benny was a man of great patience & intelligence but most importantly was his appreciation for all the wonders and beauty that god has blessed us with. He had a true love for his family, his roots and preserving the rich history of his heritage for generations to come.
