Obituary of Dennis T. Dueltgen

Dueltgen, Dennis T. age 58 of West Paterson at rest on September 13, 2009. Beloved husband of the former Jill Vander Ploeg of West Paterson. Adoring father of Deanne and Darryl Dueltgen both of West Paterson. Dear son of the late William and Mildred (nee Grassi) Dueltgen. Affectionate brother of Joanne Dietz and her husband David of Chappaqua, NY, Jeffrey Dueltgen and his wife Sue of New York, NY and the late William E. Dueltgen. Uncle of William, Craig, and Jon Luke Dueltgen. Born in Jersey City, he moved to West Paterson in 1954. He was an Operations Manager for Main Events, Boxing Promotions, Totowa, for over twenty years. Dennis was an avid New York Yankee fan and a gourmet cook. He was a constant and energetic presence in all of our lives and his absence leaves a void that most likely cannot be filled. He was always the first one to offer a hand when friends, family and even acquaintances were in need, lifting their spirits with his unique brand of humor. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 9:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Bonaventure R.C.
