Dennis was one of the greatest people I knew - he cared about his family and everyone else one and the same. All were equal - he spread himself all over and always was there if you needed him - he made you laugh - he was a great cook - always joking around - a very dear friend is gone and he will be missed very much - I want to give Jill and Deanna and Darryl and the family my deepest condolences - Love
and Bless all of you, Chris

Dennis was a great friend and mentor. We traveled America together and thrived in the chaos. We spent many a "work" day at Yankee Stadium, arguably his favorite place on Earth and had a blast doing it. I will miss him a lot.

There was only one Dennis and the world is poorer for his passing. He was constant and always gave more than he received or would have asked for. Those of us who knew him in his youth, knew than even in our " wild and craziest" moments, Dennis would put the needs of others before his own.
His good deeds and kind disposition may have hid the fact that he was a keen and astute observer of his surroundings, world events and human nature. He was too honest to be deceived. Dennis saw the world as it is and understood his role in making it a better place. He never shirked responsibility and never asked for praise. Nor did he avoid a good time when it was the right thing to do.
His life and good name will be an inspiration for his loving family and all of us.

My memories of Dennis are all of warmth and laughter, beer and tube steaks, and general good times. He included me with the big kids when I was little and remained a friend over many years and many miles. My sympathies are with his family, and I hope they gain strength at this difficult time in knowing that Dennis lives on in everyone who knew him.

I am saddened by Dennis' passing. I came to know him by covering boxing for the Sacramento (Ca.) Bee for many years before my recent retirement. He was a tireless, helpful and always professional and friendly boxing executive. My best to his family and friends.

Words can even express what a great guy Dennis was. I spent 13 years of my life on the road with him. He was my rock when my dad was sick and my rock for everything else in my life. I not only lost a co-worker but a best friend. I have very found memories of Dennis, which can never be taken away from me. He loved his family with all his heart. Jill, Deanne and Darryl I am here for you all and always will be.

My sincere condolences to Dennis' family. I always looked forward to a Main Events promotion in Atlantic City because it meant I'd have a chance to chat with Dennis. He was one of the few genuine and sincere people in the sport and will be dearly missed.

Dennis was always a gentleman, hard worker and a comedian. I have not seen him in many years since I worked at Main Events but always think of him when I pass Murphs or am up on Garrett Mountain. He was never far from my thoughts. Unfortunately, I am on vacation in Arizona and cannot attend the services. My prayers are with Dennis' family and Dennis (my friend)!

Mr Dueltgen was truly one of the nicest guys I have ever met. I have only known him for a little over a year but it seemed like forever. Any time I would go over to their house both him and Jill were very welcoming. I'll never forget the amazing food he has cooked for me, he took me to my first Yankees game and my first boxing match. May he rest in peace and god bless his entire family. He will be truly missed by all.

My heart goes out to your family and friends. Dennis was one of the kindest and hardest working guys I know. He taught me so much about the boxing industry and organizing them when I worked at Trump Taj Mahal. He was always there with a hand and of course the never ending guidance...He will surely be missed by all....Sincerely Christine Steelman

Dennis was one of the first people to help me organize licensing with fighters and their camps. He helped me learn how to deal with fighters and their camps with the right amount of humor and authority. He helped me learn my job by doing his job so well. He was so much fun to be around. We still called each other once in while since Main Events had not had a fight in Nevada in so long. He was a great person and I will miss him. Peace be with you.

He will be greatly missed for his charm, sense of humor and his generosity. My heart and prayers go out to his loving family. Love ya Den.
