Obituary of Michael A. Tommas

Tommas, Michael "Spanky" A. Sr. age 48 of Totowa formerly of Saddle Brook at rest in Paterson on May 5, 2009. Father of Michael A. Tommas, Jr. of Fort Lee. Son of Richard G. Tommas Sr. of Saddle Brook and the late Caroline (nee Becker) Tommas. Step son of Gale Tommas of Saddle Brook. Brother of Roberta Cobb and her husband Gregg of Saddle Brook, Richard G. Tommas, Jr. and his wife Laura of Toms River and Arthur K. Tommas and his wife Gloria of Totowa. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, a great niece and his beloved pet and buddy, Max. Born in Bronx, N.Y., he lived in Saddle Brook for most of his life before moving to Totowa two years ago. Mr. Tommas was a Driver/Courier for Federal Express, Teterboro for the past twenty five years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 10:00 AM. Committal service to follow at Cedar Lawn Crematory Chapel, Paterson. Friends may call Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
