Mike,
I can't believe you're really gone. You will definitely be missed. I have known you and your family since we were in high school. You were a good friend to me and so many people. You were always there to share your thoughts, lend an ear, go shopping, go to the clubs, or just enjoy time with a friend. Most of all, you were such a wonderful dad to Michael. I remember one of the last conversations we had. You told me how proud you were of him and how well he was doing in school. The fact that Michael is growing into such a wonderful young man is a reflection of the terrific job you did as a father. He was your pride and joy. I know that every member of your family will keep their promise to you and will be there for Michael. Your memory will live on through him. God bless you and may you rest in peace.

Uncle Mike i can't belive your really gone. I loved you so much, you where like a best friend to me. you would come down to the house every weekend you and little Micheal and we would have so much fun. Even tho when Mike Dan and I would rather go to the beach or go on the boat. you would be the first to tell us to clean the pool or the yard. But once it was done you had no problem hanging out with us, when daddy wouldn't want to do anything. we use to take the boat out and go crabing and you would always sing Rock Lobster and we had no idea what it was. Then you would tell us all your crazy stories. I'll never forget how you use to tell us ridicolus ways that would probably never work. you where always happy and even when you wern't feeling good all you could ask was when is the boat going in and just call you to clean it when were ready. I guess it is up to me and little Michael this year to get the boat ready for you. I loved you so much and I'll never forget you and i can't wait to see you and hear all Your new crazy stories.

you are gonna be missed deeply at our family gatherings and most of all I will miss the family arguments when we would pass the cup around to speak what was on our mind and how you felt you didn't need the cup to speak ...you were gonna voice your opinion no matter what...whether it was your turn or not...your bark was worse then your bite...and your heart was always in the right spot with good intentions...I also will remember how you gave me the strength when I got sick and you were more sick then I to move forward every day and not dwell on it and get better... and to be honest its just not gonna be the same..today I felt like there was something missing and it was... you were missing... when I only had two brothers next to me instead of three...I believe you are with mom tonight ...and you are doing the things you could not do for a long time....and one thing that I promise you is that I will be there for your son no matter what...I made that promise to you...when I baptized him ...and I will keep that promise...and he will become the man you want him to be...and when he needs a shoulder to cry on I will be there for him....and I will be there in the good the times too no matter what....

Dad,
I miss you sooooooooo much. It hurts me so much to know that your not going to be here to watch me graduate from college or see my children grow up and most of all, it hurts me just knowing i am not going to be able to hold you anymore. I always had this life goal, that when i grew up i would make enough money to buy you anything you needed in the world; since that was what you did for me as my life progressed from birth up until that very last horrific day for me. But hey, Trying to make something positive out of this now, When i grow up and be successful, i will be able to tell everyone that my success is a result of the great job my dad did raising me. You were a wonderful guy and an amazing father, nobody could have done a better job raising a child. Even though you were 48, you acted like you we 19 and I am both glad and proud to say that my dad was cool enough to go out to a club and chill with me and my friends, not many people can say that in this world, but i am glad i am one of them. Not only were you amazing and down to earth, but also you were a man who loved to talk. You could carry a conversation with anybody, even if you never meet them before, for hours. I remember many times we would go out and you would be standing next to somebody and you would just begin talking to them, with that amazing smile you always had (which im also going to miss), and you would just ramble on about absolutely nothing for hours! HAHA in my eyes that was both hilarious and embarrassing, but I still loved it. So yea this note is getting pretty long so I just wanna say that I LOVE YOU SOOOOOO MUCH! and I WILL ALWAYS HAVE YOU IN MY THOUGHTS! You were the most important person to me in this world, and i am going to miss you so much.
I Love You Dad,
Your son, Michael A Tommas Jr.
P.s. Dont worry i wont let you down
