DEAR GRACE MARIE & RICHIE & YOUR FAMILY, I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ALEX PASSED AWAY. I HAVE SO MANY MEMORIES THERE ISN'T ENOUGH ROOM IN THIS SPACE. HE WAS MY FIRST LOVE & THE ONLY MAN I MARRIED. I LAST SAW ALEX WHEN HE WAS LIVING WITH YOUR DAD HERE IN FLORIDA. HE WINED & DINED ME, WE DANCED ALL NITE. HE TAUGHT ME MY LOVE FOR JAZZ & FOR THAT I WILL ALWAYS BE GRATEFUL. HE WAS THERE FOR MY 13TH BIRTHDAY-WE DATED FOR 8 YEARS-SO WE GREW UP TOGETHER. I HAVE SO MANY PICTURES OF US WITH MY FAMILY & YOURS. I WILL BE THERE ON MONDAY IN SPIRIT. I AM SO SAD HE IS GONE. BE STRONG, HE WOULD HAVE WANTED THAT & IF YOU HAVE ANY OF HIS RECORDINGS THAT SHOULD ALSO BE PLAYED FOR HIM AS YOU PUT HIM INTO HIS FINAL RESTING PLACE.
