Obituary of Joseph Brillante

Brillante, Joseph Joe Boards age 79 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on June 1, 2008. Beloved husband of the former Dolores Del Vecchio. Loving Father of Joseph A. Brillante and his wife Janet of Rochelle Park, Richard Brillante and his wife Donna of Fairfield, Robert Brillante of Totowa and Steven Brillante of Witheville, VA. Grandfather of Nicole, Michael, Robert and Joseph Brillante. Brother of Rudolph Brillante of Riverdale. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson before moving to Totowa in 1955. He was a Warehouse Manager for Martin Processing Inc., Fairfield, N.J. for many years before retiring in 1991. Mr. Brillante was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa. He was a member of the Passaic Valley Elks Lodge # 2111, Totowa. He was a member of the Italian American Independent Club, Totowa. He was also a member of the Totowa Seniors and he was on the Bingo Committee for Don Bosco Technical High School where he aquired the nickname Joe Boards. Mr. Brillante was an avid Gardener and he was a very dedicated family man. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
