Uncle Charley as I knew him growing up was always a friendly fun addition to any family party. He took time to talk to us kids and always squeezed your hand till you cried "uncle".
I also remember a great time at Jennifer's wedding when Charley and my grandmother Lillian danced the "Lindy". They were both very smooth on their feet for senior citizens.
I am sorry for his passing and the fact that I had not seen him in so long a time. He will be missed by his family. A great gentleman.

Every time I went to St. Josephs home to visit my grandmother I would see Charlie & "John" in the hallway. Charlie would always be talking up a storm to "John" yet he always paused to say hello or nod his head. He will be missed by the many residents and visitors of the 2nd Floor at St. Josephs home.

Charlie was a man we all loved and looked up to. He was a joy to be around. We have fond memories of family gatherings. Everyone loved him---young and old. He is at peace now but his presence will always be felt especially when we are around his loving family.

Pop,
You were the best grandfather anyone could ask for. I am so blessed that I had you in my life for 30 years, you got to watch me grow up, get married, and have my first baby, your third great grandson. I can't wait to tell Dante all the wonderful stories and memories I have of you.
I love you very much, please give a kiss to Grandma and Aunt Carole for me and tell them that I love them. They have been waiting a long time to see you!! Also give Buttons and Penny hugs and kisses too!!
Love, Suzy
