Obituary of Angelo J. Monzo

Monzo, Sr., Angelo J. Sr., 73 of Manahawkin formerly of Totowa at rest in Little Egg Harbor on July 13, 2007. Born in Paterson he lived in Haledon then Totowa for 35 years before moving to Manahawkin in 1999. He was a Captain for the Passaic County Sheriff's Dept., Paterson, for 26 years before retiring in 1994. Mr. Monzo was a volunteer fireman for Totowa Fire Company #1, Totowa. Beloved husband of the former Florence Suppa. Father of Jess A. Monzo and his wife Karen of Fairfield, Rosemarie Lazor and her husband John of Basking Ridge and Angelo J. Monzo, Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Oak Ridge. Grandfather of Jess, Kris, Jessica, Jamie, Megan, Michael, and Jillian. Brother of Justin Monzo of Bethany, PA and Alvin Monzo of Glenwood. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
