Balady, Albert age 86 of Oakland at rest in Oakland on June 21, 2007. Born in Paterson, he lived most of his life in Clifton before moving to Oakland 5 years ago. He was an Employee for the Passaic Valley Water Commission, Clifton, for 25 years before retiring in 1983. He was a parishioner and usher at St. Ann's Melkite Catholic Church, West Paterson. He was a past secretary for AARP, Clifton and a member of the Aleppian Society, West Paterson. Beloved husband of the former Olga Banna of Hawthorne. Father of Sam Balady of North Haledon, Barbara Lota of Hawthorne, Ginny Mascitelli of Union and Shirley Bluemer of Clifton. Brother of Elizabeth Ackaway of Clifton, Michael Balady of Paterson, John Balady of Hawthorne, Joseph Balady of Bayville and the late George Balady, and Antoinette Harracka. Survivors include 4 grandchildren and 1 Great-grandson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 A.M. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Ann's Melkite Catholic Church, West Paterson at 9:30 A.M. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
