Obituary of Larry M. Salvato

Salvato, Lawrence M. "Larry" age 97 of Wayne formerly of Hawthorne at rest in Pequannock on June 2, 2007. Born in Paterson he lived in Paterson and then in Hawthorne before moving to Wayne in 2003. Mr. Salvato was a Supervisor for PSE&G before retiring in 1976 after working for the company for more than 30 years. He was a WWII Navy veteran serving in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of the Hawthorne Gun Club and the NRA. He was an avid Fisherman, Hunter and outdoor sportsman. Mr. Salvato also worked part time for Paterson Rod & Gun Store Inc. Beloved husband of the late and former Ann Schmidt. Survivors include many Nieces, Nephews and Great Nieces and Great Nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
