Titus, Ronald J. age 75 of Totowa at rest in Paterson on May 16, 2007. Born in Paterson, NJ he lived in Totowa for most of his life. He was a member of the Totowa Boro Police Department for 37 years, retiring as Deputy Police Chief. Mr. Titus was a member and recording secretary of Totowa PBA Local #80, a member of the Totowa Happy Seniors, the Totowa Republican Party and was a member of the Totowa Boro Fire Department, Lincoln Fire Company for over 25 years. He was a former member of the Totowa Boro School Board and was a Trustee for the Totowa Boro 1st Aid Squad. Mr. Titus was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion Post #227, Totowa. He was a member of the Mountain View Masonic Lodge, Wayne; was the Treasurer of the Totowa PAL for many years; was a Trustee for the Totowa Boro Welfare Board and was a Board Member of the Totowa Boro Historical Society. Beloved husband of the former Joan Ross. Father of Douglas Titus & his wife, Leslie of Montville, Gary Titus & his wife, Donna of Wayne, and Scott Titus of Totowa. Grandfather of Jamie, Carley, Leigh, Eric, Brittany, & Hillary Titus. Relatives and friends are invited to attend services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
