I met Michael at a Mortgage Bankers Convention in Atlantic City not too long after he joined the LandAmerica staff. I instantly became a fan of his and was eager for him to be successful in his new job. He was the same age as my daughter and nephew, who were also born in 1980, so I felt a little protective toward him, as most Mother's would. He was a wonderul young man, always full of positive energy and always a gnetleman. He will be missed.

Michael,
this is hard, not quite sure what to say. You're beautiful. I hope you know how much you are truly missed. I will NEVER forget the last time I saw you and that smile of yours. I'm glad you got that extra day in VT. I'm going to Colorado, as planned, and you better help me not summersault all the way down those mountains ;) I'm gonna need a little bit of your help as I'm sure you're already aware. Sad to see you go, love. Your smile will stay with me always, ALWAYS.

I guess the fondest memories I have of Michael are when he was just a little guy. He would always get his Aunt Ellen & me in trouble whenever he came to the store.
We would be laughing so hard at him, his Dad would tell us we were entertaining the customers...He had such a great personality & a loving, caring, beautiful heart.

Since 6th grade at Skater's World when you were my first "boyfriend", to running into you when we worked at MTV, to our inseparable days down the shore and at South Park. Our lives always intersected, until now. I think of you and our friendship and miss you very much.
