Dear Benny, Paul, Maryann and families,
I watched you kids grow up and remember some great times at the Totowa Pool, laughing with your Mom and Jimmy Tummino and Carol T. One summer Betty finally made it into the pool, and I still have her picture.
I was so sorry to hear that she had passed on; I wondered why I hadn't seen her around for such a long time. Of course, I don't take those long walks any more, either, since I got older and came through several surgeries.
I still belong to the pool, though, and I will think of her as I swim this summer.
I'm sure Betty enjoyed those four grandchildren a whole lot. God bless you all.
Love, Betty Marchitti
(We used to call your Mom
"Little Betty" because of course I was taller (and wider!)
