I was Amato's supervisor when he first arrived in my shop at Marine Attack Training Squadron-203. He was a quick learner, a squared-away Marine, and an example to fellow Marines. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

Even though I went to the same high school as Biagio, I only knew of him through his wife Evette. Someone had told me he had passed away but I couldn't believe it! I saw him not too long ago. I will forever remember his mother-in-law telling him he looked like a red lobster one night when we were having dinner and joking around. He was a great father to his two beautiful little boys and also cared a lot for his two stepchildren, took care of them like they were his own. Please pray for his family, especially his mom, father and brother and his two little boys Gianni and Guiliano.

I can remember that day at school 27 when a teacher or substitute stuttered over ur name...Kadena, Michele, and I renamed you to "Beep Beep." This is too much for me to endure. I will never forget you. RIP my dear friend. Love you, Shu.

The amato family played a big role in my life as a kid. His brother Joe and I where very close which meant he was more like a little brother. I am very sad that he is now gone. I will always remember his smile. RIP my friend, see you on the other side. XOXO

Biagio..We served together in the Marines, stationed at Cherry Point, NC. You were an awesome asset to the team and enjoyed working alongside of you and hanging out in our offtime. Together with the rest of our 'old crew' we made some very long lasting memories together. We lost touch after both of us leaving the Marines, but you were a very dear friend to me and I was very sad to hear of your passing recently. My only regret is that we didn't remain closer after leaving the Marines. I am sure you will be missed by all of those your life has touched, and my thoughts and prayers go out to your family.
