Step-Father of John P.Damato and his wife Elizabeth, Christopher Damiano,Donna M. De Candido and her husband Richard,and Kim M. Donofrio and her husband Michael. Grandfather of John Damato, Elaine Damato, Michael Donofrio, Taylor Donofrio, Christa Delmo, Sergio Allegretti, Alexa Marie De Candido and Robert A. Delmo III. Delmo, Sr. age 59 of Paterson died Monday. Born in Paterson, NJ he was a lifelong city resident. He was Senior Inspector Of Engineering for the City of Paterson, N.J. for 18 years. Prior to that he was a Union Carpenter for Amtrak, Newark, N.J. for many years. Mr. Delmo was a Vietnam Army veteran. He was an avid antique collector and a fine woodworker. Survivors include his wife: The former Najla Baram A son: Robert A. Delmo Jr. of Fairfield, N.J. A daughter: Shawna Allegretti of Wayne, N.J. 2 step sons: John P. Damato of Marlton, N.J. Christopher Damiano of East Northpoint, L.I. N.Y. 2 step daughters: Donna M. De Candido of Montvale, N.J. Kim M. Donofrio of Haskell, Wanaque Twsp., N.J. Also survived by 8 Grandchildren.
