Born in Providence, R.I. he lived in Providence R.I. and then Wayne, N.J. before moving to Totowa, N.J. in 1970. He was a Retired Chef for The Roosevelt Hotel, New York. After that he was an Executive Chauffeur for Curtiss Wright, Caldwell for 30 years. He was a World War II Army veteran. Preceeding him in death was: His wife: the former Dorothy L. Soller. Survivors include: A brother: Nunzio Muto of Rhode Island. 2 nieces: Camille Granieri of Rhode Island. Ann Levitt of Rhode Island. A nephew: Andrew Muto of Rhode Island. Also surviving are close friends Joseph and Nancy Mecca and their children of North Caldwell, N.J. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
