Guarraia, Salvatore Sal of Paterson and Boynton Beach FL. at rest in Wayne on October 19, 2006. Beloved husband of the former Josephine A. Cannici. Father of Thomas S. Guarraia and his wife Dorothy, Joan N. Donnelly and her husband Charles and Diane Titus. Grandfather of Joseph John Titus, Paul and Andrew Guarraia and Stephen and Brian Donnelly. Brother of Rose Collins and Ernest Guarraia. Also surviving are several Nieces and Nephews. OBITUARY Sal Guarraia age 87 of Paterson and Boynton Beach, FL. died Thursday. Born in Hawthorne, N.J. he lived in Hawthorne and Clifton then in Paterson and Boynton Beach, FL. before moving back to Paterson 18 months ago. He was a New Car Manager for Brogan Cadillac, Ridgewood, N.J. for 36 years before retiring in 1981. He was a parishioner of St. Brendans R.C. Church, Clifton. Mr. Guarraia was a WWII army veteran serving in the European Theater. He was a Platoon Sergeant and was missing in action for 2 weeks in Belgium. Survivors include his wife: The former Josephine A. Cannici of Paterson, N.J. A son: Thomas S. Guarraia of Clifton, N.J. 2 daughters: Joan N. Donnelly of West Milford, N.J. Diane Titus of Pennington, N.J. A sister: Rose Collins of Florida A brother: Ernest Guarraia of Florida Also surviving are 5 Grandchildren, a Daughter in Law, a Son in Law and several Nieces and Nephews.
