Boonstra, Gertrude E. (nee Moyer) of Totowa at rest in Paterson on June 17, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Lt. Col. Matthew A. Boonstra. Mother of Judy A. Gorski, Barbara L. Casperson and her husband Jesse and Susan L. Boonstra Spencer and her husband J. Scott. Grandmother of Peter and Kristen Gorski and Brian, Timothy and Amy Casperson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Donations may be made to the Building Fund, C/O Little Falls United Methodist Church, 139 Main Street, Little Falls, N.J. 07424 or the American Cancer Society N.J. Division Inc., Passaic County Unit, 468 Parish Drive, Wayne, N.J. 07470. For more information go to www.festamemorial.com. OBITUARY Gertrude E. (nee Moyer) Boonstra age 80 of Totowa died Saturday. Born in Paterson, N.J. she lived in Totowa most all of her life. She was a Bookkeeper for the Hot Grill Restaurant, Clifton, N.J. since 1983. She was a member of the Little Falls United Methodist Church and served on the Board of Trustees. She was also the Co Treasurer of Building Projects for the new church addition. She was a member of the Circle of Friends. Mrs. Boonstra was also a member of the V.F.W. Post # 6255, Cedar Grove, Ladies Auxilliary as well as a member of the American Legion Post # 227, Totowa, Ladies Auxilliary. She was a member of the Little Falls Womans Club, the Passaic County Board of Elections, the Republican Club of Totowa and Passaic County and the Reserve Officers Association League of New Jersey. Preceeding her in death was: Her husband, Lt. Col. Matthew A. Boonstra. Survivors include: 3 daughters: Judy A. Gorski of Totowa, N.J. Barbara L. Casperson of Totowa, N.J. Susan L. Boonstra Spencer of Fallbrook, CA. Also surviving are 5 Grandchildren and 2 Sons in Law. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
