Father of John Morris, Maureen Morris, Susan Glatter, Theresa Morris and the late James Joseph Morris, Jr. Brother of Ruth Leinhart and Ceil Butterworth. Also survived by 4 granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. OBITUARY James Joseph Morris, Sr. age 85 of Totowa died Monday. Born in Paterson, NJ he lived in Paterson before moving to Totowa in 1956. He was a Subway Inspector for NJ Bell Phone Company, Totowa, NJ for 35 years before retiring in 1962. Mr. Morris was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Msgr Stein Assembly, West Paterson. He was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa. Mr. Morris was a WWII Navy Veteran. Preceeding him in death was his son: James Joseph Morris Jr. Survivors include his wife: The former Veronica Thomason of Totowa, NJ A son: John Morris of Upper Saddle River, NJ 3 daughters: Maureen Morris of Totowa, NJ, Susan Glatter of Hawthorne, NJ, Theresa Morris of Mass. 2 sisters: Ruth Leinhart of West Milford, NJ, Ceil Butterworth of Totowa, NJ Also survived by 4 granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.
