LaVia, Aida (nee Pizzi) of Paterson at rest in Wayne on May 30, 2005. Devoted wife of Joseph LaVia. Sister of Gilda Bardonaro and several late brothers and sisters. Survivors include 4 nieces and a nephew. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Marys R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Garden of Memories Mausoleum, Washington Township. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-0050 would be appreciated. For more information go to www.festamemorial.com OBITUARY Aida (nee Pizzi) LaVia age 81 of Paterson died Monday. Born in Newark, NJ she lived there before moving to Paterson 53 years ago. She was a Drill Press Operator for IT&T Co., Clifton, NJ for 23 years before retiring. Preceeding her in death are several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her husband: Joseph LaVia of Paterson, NJ A sister: Gilda Bardonaro of Belleville, NJ Also survived by 4 nieces and a nephew. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
