LaVia, Aida (nee Pizzi) of Paterson at rest in Wayne on May 30, 2005. Devoted wife of Joseph LaVia. Sister of Gilda Bardonaro and several late brothers and sisters. Survivors include 4 nieces and a nephew. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Marys R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Garden of Memories Mausoleum, Washington Township. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. She was a Drill Press Operator for IT&T Co., Clifton, NJ for 23 years before retiring. Preceeding her in death are several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her husband: Joseph LaVia of Paterson, NJ A sister: Gilda Bardonaro of Belleville, NJ Also survived by 4 nieces and a nephew.
