Fugate, Alfred L. of Totowa at rest in Totowa on December 16, 2004. Beloved husband of the former Reba G. Sickler. Father of Robert R. Fugate and Donald L. Fugate. Brother of Charlotte Fugate, Stanley Fugate, Robert Fugate and James Fugate. Grandfather of Robert, Donald, Erica, Korinne and Monica Fugate. Great Grandfather of Tabitha Kencakoski and Samantha Fugate. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Monday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Fugate age 79 of Totowa died Thursday. Born in Macon, MO he lived in Paterson before moving to Totowa 55 years ago. He was a Welder for Tri County Asphalt, Lake Hopatcong, N.J. for many years before retiring in1990. Mr. Fugate was a member of the Totowa United Methodist Church. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and a member of the VFW Post #10104, Totowa, N.J. He was a former baseball and football coach for the Totowa PAL for 14 Years. Survivors include his wife: The former Reba G. Sickler of Totowa, N.J. 2 sons: Robert R. Fugate of Clark Summit, PA. Donald L. Fugate of Totowa, N.J. A sister: Charlotte Fugate of La Marida, CA. 3 brothers: Stanley Fugate of Port St. Lucie, FL. Robert Fugate of Wildwood, FL. James Fugate of Mt. Laurel, N.J. Also surviving are 5 Grandchildren and 2 Great Granddaughters. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
